Lee Freedman quickly reacquainted himself with the Kranji winner's stall, preparing a winner on his first weekend since taking up residence in Singapore.
The Australian Hall of Fame trainer produced Mr Clint to take out the second race on the card.
It was Freedman's second meeting since gaining his Singapore trainer's licence, where he took over from Laurie Laxon, and appropriately came with a horse owned by Phua Chian Kin of Oscar Racing Stable.
"It's nice to get away to a memorable start here for a horse owned by CK, who has been a great supporter of Laurie's for many years," Freedman told the Singapore Turf Club website.
"I've actually known CK for a long time during my past visits here. He is a real gentleman and it's a nice to reward him with a winner.
